Wall-Mounted Protection
The cover mounts directly to the wall around your battery. The fixed front panel and sloped lid shade your battery from sun and rain. It is a ventilated shade, not a sealed box.
Open Side Vents
Both sides have tall open vents next to the wall on every size. Air moves in from below and out the sides, and installers can reach the sides of the battery through the vents.
Room to Breathe
The back and bottom of every cover are open. Our Battery Finder only recommends a size that leaves at least 25mm each side, 60mm above, 40mm below and 30mm in front of your battery. Your battery maker's own installation clearances still apply — your installer will check them.

From compact wall-mount units to stacks over 2 metres tall. Use our Battery Finder to check your battery against all six sizes, using the manufacturer's published dimensions.
Why this matters for installers
When a battery needs an inspection, a firmware update or a service call, installers need to get to it. Nova Shield's open side vents let installers reach the sides of the battery. Your installer should always follow the battery maker's service instructions.
